ещё оттуда же про прошедший сезон:

14 -- Goals scored by Calgary in the Stanley Cup Finals, one more than the Lightning. It's the first time in a best-of-seven final that the losing team has outscored the winner.

171 -- Shots by Calgary in the Finals, also one more than Tampa Bay.

4 -- Victories by Tampa Bay in the Finals, one more than Calgary.

146,702 -- Fans who attended the seven games in the Finals, an NHL record. Tampa Bay drew 89,039 for its four home games, also a Finals record.

11 -- Game 7s in the Stanley Cup Finals won by the home team. Tampa Bay became the 11th team in 13 tries to capitalize on the home-ice edge in the deciding game by beating Calgary, 2-1, for the Cup.

27 -- Total goals in the finals, the fewest in a best-of-seven championship round since Montreal and Detroit managed only 26 in 1954. Ironically, one year later, the same two teams combined to set the all-time high of 47 goals, and Detroit won both series. The all-time low is 18 by Toronto and Detroit in 1942.

10 -- The number of 3-0 games in the playoffs among the 21 shutouts by goaltenders during the 89 postseason games. Six games ended in 1-0 scores, five in 2-0, and two in 4-0 decisions.

2 -- Overtime goals scored by Joe Sakic in Colorado's Western Conference semifinal series against San Jose, giving the Avalanche captain six playoff OT winners, tying the record held by Maurice Richard, who retired in 1960.

2 -- Number of playoff games in which the winning team scored more than five goals. Philadelphia beat Toronto 7-2 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals and routed Tampa Bay 6-2 in Game 2 of the Eastern Finals.

.319 -- Regular-season winning percentage of teams that allowed opponents to score first.

.543 -- Winning percentage of the Boston Bruins when allowing opponents to score first. The Bruins won the Northeast Division and finished second overall in the Eastern Conference despite scoring first in only 34 of 82 games, by far the lowest number of any playoff team. The Bruins were 20-7-7 when scoring first; 21-19-8 when the opposition notched the first goal.

250 -- The Bruins' winning percentage in the playoffs when they allowed the first goal. Boston surrendered the game's first tally four times in seven games against Montreal, who were the NHL's first-goal leaders during the regular season with 51 in 82 games, one more than Tampa Bay.

2 -- Overtime games won by the Los Angeles Kings, who were 2-9-16 in 27 OT contests; the nine losses were the most in the League

30 -- Overtime games played by Boston, an NHL record. The Bruins were 8-7-15 in those games.

41 -- Goals scored by the three co-winners of the Rocket Richard Trophy, Ilya Kovalchuk, Rick, Nash, and Jarome Iginla. It's the lowest full-season total to lead the NHL since 1962-63, when Detroit's Gordie Howe was tops with 38 in a 70-game season

13 -- Goals scored by Iginla in the playoffs; he led all postseason goal scorers and became the first player since Pavel Bure in 1994 to finish first in goals in the regular season and the playoffs.
2 -- Number of teams Miikka Kiprusoff played for this season; he was the first No. 1 goaltender since Patrick Roy in 1996 to make the Stanley Cup Finals after starting the season with another club.

38 -- Regular-season games played by Kiprusoff with the Calgary Flames after being acquired from San Jose -- one less than Roy played for Colorado in 1995-96 after coming over from Montreal.

43 -- Years since the Chicago Blackhawks' last Stanley Cup, the longest active drought among NHL teams.

На нхл.ком интерсная инфа о драфтах:
First 500-goal scorer taken No. 1 overall -- It took eight years for the draft to produce an impact player from the No. 1 overall selection. Not until the expansion Buffalo Sabres chose Gilbert Perreault in 1970 did a top pick yield a 500-goal scorer. Perreault finished his career with 511 tallies, 27 more than Darryl Sittler, chosen No. 8 that year by Toronto.

First 600-goal scorer taken No. 1 overall -- Add this honor to the numerous achievements of Mario Lemieux. Given good health, he might become the first 700-goal man, too.

First team with the top three picks in one draft -- The 1968 Montreal Canadiens are still the only team to select the first three players in any draft. Unfortunately for the Canadiens, Michel Plasse (the first pick) became nothing more than a journeyman goaltender; which was still more than Roger Belisle and Jim Pritchard accomplished -- neither made the NHL.

First team to pick first in three consecutive seasons -- The Quebec Nordiques' reward for their struggles in the late 1980s was the No. 1 overall pick in three straight years. The Nords made the most of their selections, choosing Mats Sundin in 1989, Owen Nolan in 1990, and Eric Lindros in 1991. None of the three was around when the transplanted Nordiques won their first Stanley Cup as the Colorado Avalanche in 1996, but the Avs got good value for all three in trades that helped produce a championship.

Best 1-2 combination (one year) -- In 1971, Montreal took Guy Lafleur with the first overall pick while Detroit had to "settle" for Marcel Dionne. No other draft has had the first two picks become Hall of Famers.

Best 1-2 combination (one team) -- In 1974, the New York Islanders took Clark Gillies in the first round and Bryan Trottier in the second. No other team has picked Hall of Famers in the first two rounds of the draft. Gillies and Trottier became two-thirds of.

Best 1-2-3 (actually 1-3-4) combination -- In 1979, Edmonton Oilers GM Glen Sather, picking in his first NHL draft, nabbed defenseman Kevin Lowe with the last pick in the first round. Sather had no pick in the second round, but chose Mark Messier in the third and Glenn Anderson in the fourth. All three won five Stanley Cups with the Oilers and another in 1994 with the New York Rangers. The Oilers also managed to protect an 18-year-old youngster they had picked up during their final season in the World Hockey Association -- a mop-topped kid named Wayne Gretzky -- who otherwise would have been eligible for the draft.

Best draft -- Without question, the 1979 draft was one for the books. All 21 first-round picks played at least seven seasons in the NHL, with 11 of them playing in 1,000 or more games. Of the 126 players chosen, 103 played at least one NHL game. Three members of the Class of 1979 -- Mike Gartner, Michel Goulet, and newly elected Ray Bourque -- are Hall of Famers.

Best top of a draft -- Three of the first six players chosen in the 1980 draft are also Hall of Famers, although the 1-2 picks (Doug Wickenhesier and Dave Babych) aren't among them. The Montreal Canadiens picked Wickenheiser No. 1, missing out on local product Denis Savard, who went to Chicago with the third pick. Los Angeles chose defenseman Larry Murphy with the fourth pick and Edmonton nabbed Paul Coffey at No. 6. Sather also chose another Hall of Famer, Jari Kurri, with the 69th overall pick and selected Andy Moog, a 300-game winner in goal, at No. 132.

Best bargain -- The Los Angeles Kings used the 210th overall pick (of 217 total choices) in 1975 on a little-know forward from Clarkson named Dave Taylor. Not only did Taylor become the lowest-drafted player ever to score 400 goals and 1,000 points (431-638-1,069 in 1,111) games and spend most of his career as a member of the "Triple Crown Line", the most famous threesome in team history, he's now their general manager, and no doubt looking for the next Dave Taylor.

Second-best bargain -- This one also belongs to the Kings, who took future Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille with the 171st overall pick in 1984. The Kings also nabbed a future Hall of Famer 102 picks before Robitaille, but in the wrong sport. They used their fourth pick, 69th overall, on a Boston-area forward named Tom Glavine, who opted to play baseball and was a key to the Atlanta Braves' success in the 1990s.

Shooting high -- The NHL has had 33 500-goal scorers, 24 of whom have been draft-eligible. Only four of the 24 have been chosen with the No. 1 overall pick (Pierre Turgeon needs five goals to join this group). Seven players picked in the top five are in the 500-goal club, but so are six picked from 16th to 27th overall, as well as five picked between 43rd and 171st, as well as two players (Joe Mullen and Dino Ciccarelli) who were never chosen.

The top 50 on the points list has only one undrafted player from the draft era -- Adam Oates, who has 1,079 assists and 1,420 points in a career that began after Detroit signed him out of RPI as a free agent in 1985.

Last but not least -- Only three players picked last overall have enjoyed any real NHL success. Andy Brickley, chosen 210th in 1980, had 82 goals in 385 NHL games. Hans Jonsson, a Swedish defenseman picked 286th by Pittsburgh in 1993, came to North America six years later and played four seasons. The best of the last overall selections may turn out to be defenseman Kim Johnsson, taken 286th overall by the Rangers in 1994 and later traded to Philadelphia. Johnsson has 45 goals and 169 points in 395 NHL games.
